Jake Paul, known for his victories in the boxing ring, has been challenging various UFC fighters to matches, causing concern for Dana White.

Following Paul’s first-round knockout win against former UFC fighter Ben Askren in a boxing match, Paul targeted Conor McGregor and Daniel Cormier.

Dana White, the UFC president, questioned why Jake Paul was not facing professional boxers and even threatened legal action if he continues to call out UFC fighters who are currently under contract.

“Why don’t you compete against a professional boxer?” White expressed to Yahoo Sports reporter Kevin Iole. “Why do these individuals always target UFC athletes?

“I might have to send them another legal notice, these foolish individuals. Go challenge boxers. What are you trying to achieve?”

McGregor is set to face Dustin Poirier in their third fight at UFC 264 in July. Cormier has already rejected any potential match against Paul.

Even though White is not a supporter of YouTubers and social media personalities venturing into combat sports, he did acknowledge Paul and the Triller Fight Club team for identifying a niche in their approach.

“It’s not my cup of tea, but that doesn’t mean it’s not appealing to others,” White told Yahoo Sports.

“When you observe the current Jake Paul phenomenon, boxing’s popularity is declining. He is the right person with the right gimmick at the right moment.

“He has mastered this strategy, and with boxing facing challenges, they are effectively drawing people into this concept. Kudos to him.”

Paul now holds a professional boxing record of 3-0.
