YouTube personality Jake Paul has been vocal about his desire to fight Conor McGregor and has taken a disrespectful approach to get McGregor’s attention.
In a video he released, Paul can be seen next to a fake $50 million check which he claimed to have offered McGregor, all the while insulting McGregor’s fiancée.
Addressing McGregor, Paul said, “What the heck is up, you Irish jerk?” while smoking a cigar. He continued, “My team sent you a $50 million offer this morning – $50 million cash, proof of funds – the biggest offer you’ve ever been offered. But you’re still scared to fight me, Conor.”
Nate Diaz, a UFC fighter, saw Paul’s video and didn’t hesitate to criticize the YouTuber for his behavior.
After Jake Paul responded to Diaz, Diaz reached out to his brother Logan Paul and cautioned him to intervene before things escalate.
Diaz, despite his own history with McGregor, recognized the disrespectful nature of Paul’s words.
