LaVar Ball, known for his outspoken nature, recently resurfaced with comments about his children struggling to find suitable partners now that they are famous and wealthy.
The Big Baller Brand CEO rekindled tensions with Trump on the “Endless Hustle” podcast, attributing Trump’s loss in the presidential election to his past actions towards him. Ball claimed that if Trump had not engaged in a feud with him back in 2017 when his son, LiAngelo Ball, was apprehended for shoplifting in China, Trump might have secured a second term.
In referring to the incident involving LiAngelo Ball and other UCLA basketball players being detained in China for allegedly stealing sunglasses from a store, Ball insinuated that Trump’s interventions negatively impacted his presidency.
“If he had acted differently towards me, he might still be in office. I could have supported him. But messing with the Big Baller never ends well. If Trump had embraced my brand and not acted irrationally, he might still be president. But now, he’s out,”
Ball also mentioned that Trump had recently tried to reach out to him:
“I declined his call. When facing challenges, he sought support from a Big Baller for some love. I suggested he contact Lil’ Wayne or another rapper instead.”
