Former Kansas State DL Derick Newton Pronounced Dead At Age 21

Former defensive lineman Derick Newton from Kansas State has sadly passed away at the young age of 21. He recently departed from the Kansas State program earlier this month after participating in two games and registering one tackle.

According to TheMercury.com, Newton’s death was a result of suicide.

Former teammates and friends have expressed their emotions on social media following the heartbreaking news, showing an outpouring of love and support.
