**NBA Rumours Hint Spurs Might Trade LaMarcus Aldridge to Portland Trail Blazers**

“Aldridge is set to earn $24 million next season, and DeRozan has a $27 million player option. During the recent trade deadline, there were talks of the Spurs looking to move Aldridge, but it seems they might have overestimated the value they could get for him,” remarked an NBA executive.
There is a possibility that Aldridge could return to the Blazers, where he previously played alongside star Damian Lillard. On the other hand, DeRozan will likely exercise his player option. The Spurs may choose to restructure the team around him or explore trading options if he decides otherwise. DeRozan has ties with Miami Heat’s Jimmy Butler, sparking rumors of a potential Spurs-Heat deal.
