Tom Brady is being treated as just another player on the field.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is handling Brady the same way he handles anyone else. It’s reminiscent of the mentality of the “do your job” approach found in the north.
According to Arians in an interview with ESPN, Brady faces the same level of criticism as the rest of the team. Arians mentioned, “He gets cussed out like everybody else. He did a little bit yesterday because he likes to throw the ball in walk-throughs and we don’t throw the ball in walk-throughs. But not very bad.”
Brady has also faced criticism from former Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick, which he hinted at when responding to the ESPN quote on Twitter:
After 20 seasons with the Patriots, Brady is embarking on his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, playing for a new team and head coach.
