Tristan Thompson seems to find himself entangled in controversies involving multiple women off the basketball court like clockwork.
The Cleveland Cavaliers’ prominent player is currently in a legal battle with Kimberly Alexander, who has claimed that he is the father of her child. Before the lawsuit, Kimberly had been vocal on social media insisting that Tristan was the biological father of her child and neglecting his responsibilities.
The NBA star strongly denied paternity and warned Kimberly of legal action if she continued to defame him.
Nevertheless, she persisted, leading to a lawsuit being filed against her in May.
According to The Blast:
“Tristan stated in the lawsuit that he underwent a DNA test which proved he was not the father. Despite this, Kimberly persisted in asserting his paternity on social media with statements like, ‘I know for sure that Tristan Thompson is the father of my child.’ Tristan offered to take another DNA test, but she refused.
In his lawsuit, the NBA player questioned Kimberly’s intentions. He alleged that she was evicted from five homes in the past seven months and that her lawyer, Lisa Bloom, terminated their professional relationship for undisclosed reasons.
Recently, Tristan requested a default judgment from the court, as Kimberly failed to respond to the lawsuit despite being served with legal notices.”
Kimberly recently engaged with fans and disclosed that Thompson had offered her money to undergo an abortion, a procedure she ultimately opted not to pursue.
