The Philadelphia 76ers are facing a setback in their championship aspirations with the news that their star player, Ben Simmons, has suffered a partial dislocation of his left knee cap. Simmons is currently evaluating treatment options for this injury.
The injury occurred during their recent game against the Wizards, which they won 107-98. Initial MRI results suggested Simmons might only need a day-to-day recovery, but the latest update indicates a longer absence.
As of now, Simmons is listed as “out” for their upcoming game against Orlando on Friday. Philadelphia has won 2 out of 3 games since the NBA season restarted in the bubble.
