However, things changed when he became the first NBA player to opt out of kneeling during the Anthem and not wearing the Black Lives Matter shirt.
On Sunday, the young player suffered a torn ACL during a game against the Sacramento Kings, which led to the end of his season and might also sideline him for the 2020-21 season.
The ESPN radio show “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz” faced criticism on Monday for featuring a poll that was deemed insensitive regarding Isaac’s injury.
“We apologize for this poll question. I said on the front and back end of the on-air conversation that I didn’t think it was funny,” Dan Le Batard tweeted. “Regardless of the context, we missed the mark. We took the tweet down when we realized our mistake in how we posed the question to the audience.”
