The New York Yankees landed pitcher Gerrit Cole with a major signing in 2019, setting a record deal, but this was just the beginning for the Bronx Bombers.
Jasson Dominguez might not ring a bell yet, but he’s on the verge of making a big impact. The Yankees have high hopes for the 17-year-old outfielder, whom they signed for a team-record $5.1 million in July 2019, making him the top prospect of the 2019 international free agent class.

Dominguez is also a switch-hitter who can hit powerful shots from both sides of the plate, surely keeping pitchers up at night.
