The San Antonio Police Chief mentioned that the shooter declared, “Don’t you know who I am? I’m a UFC fighter from California.” Following his rejection, the suspect retrieved a long rifle from his car and proceeded to fire upon the crowd.

Chief McManus explained that they were denied entry due to being intoxicated.

The New York Times mentioned that the victims – five men and three women – are currently in stable condition and their ages range from 23 to 41.

Two individuals sustained minor injuries from bullets but declined medical help, while the remaining six victims sought medical treatment at a nearby hospital.

One man suffered a serious gunshot wound to the back as stated by the chief. During a press briefing last night, McManus mentioned that the shooter is still evading authorities.
