Major League Baseball (MLB) has turned down the proposal presented by the players for a 114-game regular season without any further reductions in salaries. The league is not in favor of extending the season into November due to concerns about a possible resurgence of the coronavirus, which could potentially impact the postseason and put at risk substantial broadcast revenue.
