Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk revealed on Saturday that the Eagles are actively seeking trade options for CB Rasul Douglas. This decision follows the recent acquisition of Lions CB Darius Slay by the team.

“According to multiple sources in the league, the Eagles are exploring trade possibilities for cornerback Rasul Douglas.”

This move also coincided with a series of tweets where Douglas engaged with Eagles fans who believed that Nelson Agholor was a top WR on the team, with Douglas even describing Agholor as an elite player at his position.

Agholor, who had faced criticism from Eagles fans for his dropped passes, found a new team by signing a one-year contract with the Las Vegas Raiders on Saturday.

The 26-year-old receiver struggled to connect with quarterback Carson Wentz last season, culminating in a reception-per-target rate of 56%, ranking 132nd in the league, as per ESPN Stats & Information research.

During the 2019 season, Douglas contributed 35 tackles, no interceptions, and defended 10 passes.
