Marshawn Lynch Decides to Retire from the NFL Once Again

Recent reports have confirmed that Marshawn Lynch is retiring from the NFL for the second time. This marks his second retirement since he initially left the professional football league back in 2016.

The accomplished player, a four-time Pro Bowler and former Seahawks running back, first announced his retirement at the conclusion of the 2015 season. However, he made a comeback less than two years later with the Raiders.

During his time with the Oakland Raiders, Lynch, who hails from the same city, accumulated 1,267 rushing yards and scored 10 touchdowns over the span of two seasons. Lynch achieved great success during his tenure with the Seattle Seahawks, including a Super Bowl victory in 2014. His retirement solidifies an illustrious career that could potentially lead to a Hall of Fame recognition for his impressive stats of 10,379 yards and 84 touchdowns.
