Philadelphia Eagles Acquire RB Jordan Howard from the Chicago Bears

In a recent transaction, the Chicago Bears have traded their running back Jordan Howard to the Philadelphia Eagles. The deal involves the Eagles sending a sixth-round pick to the Bears for the 2020 NFL Draft. This move aims to bolster the Eagles’ running game, which struggled in the 2018 season, ranking 28th in the NFL.

Jordan Howard, a 24-year-old player, has played his entire three-year NFL career with the Bears. He was drafted by the Bears in the fifth round, 150th overall, in the 2016 NFL draft.

Howard had an impressive rookie season, rushing for 1,313 yards and scoring seven touchdowns. In that same season, he earned a spot in the Pro Bowl. Although Howard tallied nine touchdowns in the most recent season, his rushing yards dropped to 935, marking his lowest output thus far.
