Gronkowski had faced various injuries during his time in the league and had contemplated retirement before deciding to return for the 2018-2019 season. His final season included helping the Patriots win Super Bowl LIII against the Los Angeles Rams with a score of 13-3, earning his third championship ring. Throughout his career, Gronkowski amassed impressive stats of 521 catches, 7,861 yards, and 79 touchdowns.
