The Pac-12 conference has been actively engaging fans with both positive and not-so-positive surprises in the recruiting cycle. Oregon stands out as a success story, leading the recruiting class rankings. USC has also made significant progress recently, while Arizona has shown improvement under Herm Edwards in their recruitment efforts.

However, on the flip side, UCLA and Arizona have not performed as well, with their current recruiting rankings falling outside the top 50. These teams are facing challenges compared to their counterparts.

As the signing day approaches on February 6th, let’s look at some key updates on the recruiting trail. Oregon is currently ranked fifth in recruiting class rankings, which would mark their highest position in the past 14 years. The Ducks’ previous best class was in 2011 when they ranked 14th in recruiting.

Oregon has secured 10 ESPN 300 commitments in their recruiting class, the second-highest number they have ever achieved. Head coach Cristobal’s recruiting success in California stands out with six ESPN 300 commitments from the state. Five commitments have been secured, and three have already signed. The cornerback and safety commitments are pending as they were made later in January.
