Seth Greenberg’s podcast partner is Dan Dakich, a former Indiana team captain who later served as an assistant coach under Bob Knight from 1985 to 1997. Afterward, Dakich took on the head coaching role at Bowling Green and also served as the Hoosiers’ interim coach in 2008.

Fran Fraschilla, with 23 years of coaching experience, has held head coaching positions at St. John’s, Manhattan, and New Mexico. He led his teams to three NCAA tournaments and five NIT appearances. Additionally, Fraschilla worked as an assistant coach under Rick Barnes, who currently coaches the Volunteers.

These coaches excel at designing out-of-bounds plays and are knowledgeable about college basketball conferences like the ACC, Big Ten, and Big East. They provide valuable insights into the coaching profession. In Seth Greenberg’s early coaching career at Long Beach State, he faced Jerry Tarkanian, who had never lost a game at Long Beach Arena. They had a talented team and even toyed with the idea of making Curtis McCray their college president.

Dan Dakich praised Steve Hawkins as an excellent coach at Western Michigan, despite not being widely recognized. While at Bowling Green, Dakich’s team often defeated Western Michigan, but they could never overcome Steve’s coaching. Fran Fraschilla remembers fondly a competitive matchup with an unknown Division II coach during his early days at Canisius in Division I.
