Jalen Hurts has garnered attention after losing his starting position to Tua Tagovailoa. Reports suggest that Hurts is likely to transfer after losing his starting role, with sources indicating that this move was expected. It has been reported that Hurts has entered the NCAA transfer portal, opening up opportunities for other teams to recruit him. Hurts is in his final year of eligibility and is set to graduate in December.

Following his graduation, he will be able to play immediately for the school he chooses to transfer to. Confirmation of Hurts’ transfer intentions came through a post on Twitter. The burning question now is which team will Hurts choose to play for next. According to BetDSI, the Arizona Wildcats have the second-best odds of securing this sought-after quarterback, with the Houston Cougars leading the pack.

A tweet by Tom Fornelli from CBS Sports provides a list of odds, with the Houston Cougars at the top, followed by the Arizona Wildcats, Maryland Terrapins, UCLA Bruins, TCU Horned Frogs, Florida State Seminoles, Louisville Cardinals, Tennessee Volunteers, UFC Knights, Texas A&M Aggies, Oklahoma Sooners, Florida Atlantic Owls, West Virginia Mountaineers, and Washington State Cougars.

To date, Hurts has completed 63 percent of his passes, throwing 48 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in his 42 games at Alabama. In 2016, he was ranked as the number one dual-threat quarterback. Reports suggest that Arizona coach Kevin Sumlin, who previously coached at Texas A&M, recruited and offered Hurts a scholarship, potentially giving the Wildcats an edge in landing him.
