The Anaheim Ducks have faced some challenges in the past five weeks, managing only three wins and struggling in close games. However, they showed improvement in a recent game against the Vancouver Canucks with some late-game heroics.

Despite their recent struggles, the Ducks currently hold the third place in the Pacific Division. Ryan Getzlaf had a goal and an assist in the game, and John Gibson made 25 saves for his 100th career victory. The Ducks broke a three-game losing streak with a tight 4-3 win over the Canucks.

Adam Henrique, Ondrej Kase, and Kalle Kossila also contributed goals for the Ducks, who had been on a losing streak, losing 12 of their last 15 games since their last four-goal performance on October 17th. Despite facing injuries over the past few weeks, the Ducks have managed to earn crucial points in the Pacific Division standings. This win pushed them ahead of the Vancouver Canucks into third place, just four points away from the lead.

Although it is only November, the standing is important to the Ducks as they aim to maintain their position. Ryan Getzlaf, the team’s leading scorer who missed six games due to injuries, mentioned the importance of staying focused during tough times and playing the long game to turn things around.
