Boxing, Robert Guerrero

Robert Guerrero, who retired from boxing last year following a tough defeat to Omar Figueroa, has decided to end his retirement. He is scheduled to step back into the ring on December 1st as part of the undercard for the Deontay Wilder versus Tyson Fury fight at the Staples Center.

The former two-weight world champion, known as “Ghost”, will face an unnamed opponent in a non-televised match on the Wilder-Fury heavyweight title event. Guerrero, who has held world titles in junior lightweight and featherweight, as well as belts in lightweight and welterweight, has been inactive since his last fight last year.

Having suffered his first knockout loss of his career on July 15, 2017, against Omar Figueroa Jr., Guerrero has been working hard in training for over a month to make a comeback. With a record of 33 wins, 6 losses, and 1 draw, with 18 knockouts, he moved up to the 147-pound division but struggled, losing five out of seven fights.

Fans are excited about Guerrero’s return, hopeful that he will make a successful comeback. Known for his warrior spirit, Guerrero has entertained audiences with his performances against opponents like Yoshihiro Kamegai, Andre Berto, and Michael Katsidis. He also faced Floyd Mayweather but lost in a unanimous decision.
