Roger Federer gets his 99th career ATP title

In the recent Swiss Indoors final, Roger Federer has won his 99th career ATP Tour Title on Sunday. He has beaten Marius Copil 7-6, 6-4 in the final of the tour. Basel which is the hometown for the Federer has given him his 9th title. At that same place, he was a ball boy. After winning this, he has now closed the gap on all time’s single titles list which is holden by Jimmy Connors who has got about 109 titles.

After winning this, Federer has blown kisses to about 12,000 crowds in the newly renovated St. Jakob Halle. It has now given the Basel local hero with the biggest stage. In a statement which was given by Federer said that it is a magical week. In the speech, his fans have ovation which has brought tears in welling in his eyes. The top-seeded Swiss rallied from the trailing by the service which breaks in each of the set which is against the 93rd ranked Romanian who all call to serve which was measured at about 243 Kph in his opening service game.

Federer has said to be clinched minutes after saving the breakpoint as well as taking the first match point chance when Copil has sent the backhand into the net.
