In the morning hour of Saturday, last week, four players from Jacksonville Jaguars were arrested according to the reports. The players cause an alleged incident at a local London nightclub. The reports made by The Sun suggests that the safeties of Jacksonville Jaguars Ronnie Harrison, Barry Church, Jarrod Wilson along with the cornerback D.J. Hayden who was reportedly present in London at Wembley against the Philadelphia Eagles were reportedly accused of trying to skip-out a massive bar tab that they have allegedly corresponded up at a club called London Reign Showclub.
This scenario led to disruption between the bouncer of the club and the players which resulted in arresting the four Jaguar players. A source told The Sun that “the total bill went up to a region of £50,000, and in the meantime, some of the players had tried leaving the club for good, but the security of the club prevented them from leaving from the place of the incident. Later things got a little heated, and there was a lot of cursing and shouting which led to things getting physical.
The four players were taken into custody for nine hours, and things started getting resolved as the players were released from the jail and the nightclub dropped the complaint that was filed against the player after settling up with the bill. The Jaguars released a statement while explaining that they are well aware of the fact that only four of their players were reportedly detained over the return of a bill. The matter has been resolved, and the players are back with the team, again.
Most people feel that the incident was only a misunderstanding. Moreover, it was a notion which was consolidated by the description of the event by the London Metropolitan Police. One of the police spokespeople said that “Officers attended and spoke with a group of males who had allegedly been attempting to leave the venue without paying a large bill.”
