Brandon Marshall, the well-known wide receiver will soon join the Seattle Seahawks. As per the sources, Marshall will soon sign a one-year deal with the Seahawks. If it happens, then the value of the contract will be around $2 million.
However, the Seahawks has not made an announcement about this officially but, on the other side, Marshall has posted some images in which he wears a Seahawks jersey, and the image caption says “Always wanted to play in front of these fans..@seahawks.”
Previously he was playing with the New York Giants, and the Giants discharged him in April. He was suffering from an ankle injury in and struggling with the team. He was one of the least-efficient receivers in the NFL history which caught just 59 passes for 788 yards and three Touchdowns for the Jets in 2016.
It is now said that Marshall will give Russel Wilson, a quarterback with a large target in a Seahawks receiving players which consist of players like Tyler Lockett and Dough Baldwin. He may try to crack the rotation of Seahawks. The Seahawks recently lost Jimmy Graham in a free agency. Now, maybe the Seahawks will use Marshall in the red zone.
Throughout the career, he has never played in an NFL playoff game. He has played in the team like the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and Chicago Bears. He has played six seasons with around 100 receptions. In 2017, he joined the Giants. But, he wasn’t able to prove himself there also. He played five games and caught 18 154-yard passes and scored zero.
Talking about Marshall Career, throughout his career, he has recorded 959 catches for 12,215 yards and 82 touchdown grabs. For now, he is playing with a rebuilding team. Maybe after this deal, he can change the clock.
