The official poster for the UFC 226 is released

It has been in the news since many days but now, just two months away from the start of the MMA card of 2018 and, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has released its official poster to mark the event. Although most of the fight fans might have already their calendars for the UFC 226 which begins on July 7 and will be broadcasted live on pay-per-view (PPV) from the T-Mobile Arena located in Las Vegas, Nevada, the glorious official poster released made the fans more excited.

It looks like the UFC wants to make it more clear with the new poster release that the fight between Miocic and Cormier will be a genuine super fight. The main fight event is, of course, the heavyweight title fight where the present UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will face the present UFC lightweight champion, Daniel Cormier.

This will be a super fight in true sense for the ages and will be the one that where a 205-pound champion will fight a challenge with the heavyweight champion. The two fighters are presently coaching opposite each other on Season 27 of The Ultimate Fighter.

Not to forget that there is a co-main event clash between the present UFC featherweight king Holloway and the undefeated champion Brian Ortega. Because Holloway has come a far way by winning back to back title wins over Jose Also and “T-City” becoming the first fighter to defeat Frankie Edgar, their UFC 226 showdown may be the largest fight in the history apart from Aldo vs. Conor McGregor.

In the poster, the high-octane main card and preliminary encounters have not been featured in the new poster which includes Anthony Pettis vs. Michael Chiesa, Francis Ngannou vs. Derrick Lewis, Yancy Medeiros vs. Mike Perry, Uriah Hall vs. Paulo Costa among others.
