Trevor Davis, Green Bay Packers’ wide receiver was arrested on Sunday at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and charged for making ‘criminal threats’ after joking about a bomb being stowed in his luggage, the police said on Monday.

A police spokesperson confirmed that Davis was detained following the comments he made during security-related questions while he was going to check in at the Hawaiian Airlines ticket counter. Ass per sources, Davis turned to a female companion and asked if she remembered to pack the explosives. He was then promptly taken into custody by the airport police before being released on $15,000 bail.
