Ndamukong Suh calls meeting with Raiders cancelled: Report

Oakland Raiders have settled with over ten signings till date in the NFL free agency, but none of these would have come close to the gameplay of that star defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh would have made.

The former Miami Dolphins and Detroit Lions legend were all set to meet with the Oakland Raiders on Wednesday but as per NFL Network but unfortunately, the meeting is now canceled.

As per the information, Suh chose to head home and deciding whom to choose among the New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans and the Los Angeles.

It was quite easy to understand the interest from Joh Gruden, Oakland head coach and Reggie McKenzie, general manager. It is hard to avoid the idea of pairing the talented defensive tackles in the NFL with a pass rusher such as Khalil Mack. To put it in simple words, this will result in creating one of the scariest pairings on the defensive side of the ball in the entire NFL.

As it was pointed out by Austin Gayle from the Pro Football Focus, the Raiders were trying their best to free up some of their money and fill up space. He believes that sadly whatever the team had till now managed to put up together was not enough for Suh to consider the other deals and offers he is receiving.

Suh, presently 31 years old, was originally drafted by Detroit Lions with the Number 2 pick in the NFL draft 2010. In the span of his eight-year-long career in NFL, he was racked up with 63 for loss, 51.5 sacks, and 419 combined tackles.

To add on to the impressive numbers, he is also given the title of First-Team All-Pro three times in the year 2010, 2013 and 2014. Besides this, in 2010, he was also named as the NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
