Colts player Edwin Jackson get killed by suspected drunken driver on Sunday morning

One of the most shocking news has come to the limelight regarding the Indianapolis colts player Edwin Jackson. On the early Sunday morning, the Indiana State police declared death news of two people, and the most shocking part is, one of them was Edwin Jackson and another one was an Uber driver, after being struck by a suspected drunken driver.

According to the police, the mishap has happened shortly before the 4 am on Sunday, February 4 along the westbound lanes of I-70, just at the end of Holt road. Isn’t disappointing? Fans have gone crazy and have expressed their feelings over the matter on the social channels.

Jackson, 26, has previously played for the Arizona Cardinals and was signed by the Colt in January 2016 after doing the practice squad on the previous month.

According to the police, Jackson and Monroe, 54, were standing near a stopped vehicle and suddenly a pickup truck drove onto the highway shoulder and struck both of them. Police again added their views regarding the case and said that Monroe was driving the car and has pulled it to the side of the road as Jackson was not feeling good, so he got off the car to assist him further.

Later, this news was confirmed by the Colt, where the team wrote a sorrowful message that signifies their love and care for the player. They stated, “It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of one of our own”. They have also added that Edwin was one of the most energetic players in the team and brought a smile on the locker rooms as well as to their community, and they all are standing with his family and friends in this difficult time. The driver was later identified as Alex Cabrera Gonsales, 37, who was taken into custody for further investigations.
