LeBron ranks himself as 7th member of 30,000-pint category

LeBron James who never termed herself as a scorer now has managed to join in elite company and ranked himself among the most potent threats and best scorers in NBA history. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday gave LeBron eight points which have made his scores 30,001 points. With this point, he is now the seventh player to enter the 30,000-point club. He is also youngest players to enter the points club as he is now 33 years and 24 days old. Another player who has already in this club is Kobe Bryant, and when he entered the club, he was 34 years and 104 days old.

Bryant has scored 33,643 points and is now in third place. Other leaders are Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (38,387), Karl Malone (36,928), Michael Jordan (32,292), Wilt Chamberlain (31,419) and Dirk Nowitzki (30,837).

James said, “It’s not up there in, I guess, the goals I set out for myself to be in this league.” “It’s a select company. So on that right, it’s special. … But I can honestly sit here and say that I’ve never set out to set scoring records or be a part of a scoring club,” he further added.

Commenting on the success NBA commissioner, Adam Silver said “Congratulations to LeBron on reaching 30,000 points. Another milestone in an extraordinary career that continues to inspire.”

James’s averaging scores in this season is 27 points per game. That is his highest scoring average since 2013-14. In November, James scored 57 points while playing against the Washington Wizards. That was the second-highest single-game scoring total of his 15-year career. He needed 25 points on Saturday to reach the milestone at home but managed to score only 18 and the team defeated by the Oklahoma City Thunder by 148-124 scores. However, James has now joined the club and now moving ahead to get more scores.
