The then doctor of USA gymnastic has been admitted to sexually assaulting minors and child pornography. Well, till now it has not proved that if he sexually assaulted the athletes or not.

As per the report, before sentencing, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina had given chance to speak on Friday those who had sexually assaulted by Nassar. After that, Aly Raisman, an Olympic gold medalist called the former USA Gymnastics team doctor “pathetic” for complaining about the length of his sentencing hearing and “a monster” for abusing the trust of his young patients.

Raisman stated that “Larry, you do realize now that we, this group of women you so heartlessly abused over such a long period, are now a force, and you are nothing.”

Apart from Raisman, Jorden Wieber also had given a chance to speak about Nassar.  They also stated about the inaction and inability to protect athletes from USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee.

Olympians Simone Biles, McKayla Maroney, and Gabby Douglas also had suffered from sexual abuse by Nassar.

The news first came to limelight after Denhollander filed a criminal complaint against Nassar in 2016.

After that, more than 100 women came forward against him and informed that they all were sexually assaulted by Nassar.

“This is the greatest sexual assault scandal in sports history,” Denhollander says. “Larry is arguably the most prolific pedophile in history. And it is imperative that we learn some very serious lessons from what has happened here.”
