Steelers come in support of Ryan Shazier after spinal injury with custom cleats

Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL), Ryan Shazier is still in a hospital where he receiving medical care after serious spinal injury while his fellow Steelers teammates to defeat their rival team Baltimore Ravens on “Sunday Night Football.”

The football match will be played at Heinz Field where the audience will surely get to see some emotional moments as it will be Pittsburgh Steelers’ first match after Shazier got injured. Some of the team members showed their support toward Shazier via paying their own tribute to their injured team member via doing custom cleats.

Mike Hilton took his Twitter on Saturday and posted a picture of custom cleats, writing, “We got you bro.”

The costume cleats are small but a sweet gesture. People are praising the Pittsburgh Steelers for a symbolic gesture. Their supports towards their team member reminds everyone that there are many important things to cheer and worry about no matter how intense the game turns.

The football match between top two teams in the AFC North is worth watching, it would be interesting to see how  Steelers will perform after seeing one of their team member and defensive leader suffer serious spinal injury.

This week, Shazier underwent spinal stabilization surgery due to injury he got on the field Monday. A neurologist who consults for the NFL Players Association, Dr. Anthony Alessi who doesn’t treat Shazier told ESPN  on Thursday, Shazier “may not play football again.” He added, “This is a much more severe situation on our hands than we thought.”
