Growing up in Zugdidi, Georgia, Davit experienced a childhood much like any other, filled with the delights of reading and play.
However, everything transformed in 2012 during a routine PE class when a teacher recognized his remarkable running talent and connected him with a track and field coach.

A Swift Ascent in Athletics
Davit’s career took off in 2013 when he clinched third place at the national youth championship in Georgia, securing his position on the national youth team.

- 2014: Claimed victories in the 60m hurdles and 200m at the Georgian championships, setting the fastest time in the 110m hurdles at the Moscow Open Championship.
