The college football season ended two weeks ago, but fans have something exciting to look forward to.
College football enthusiasts and the gaming community received major news on Tuesday as EA Sports announced the launch date for its upcoming NCAA College Football video game.
According to David Waters’ sources, the game will be available for purchase on July 12, 2024, ending a drought that has lasted over 10 years – the last game was released in July of 2013.
The game was incredibly popular among fans and gamers, but disputes over the use of players’ names, images, and likenesses led to its discontinuation.
The introduction of the NIL program has allowed college athletes to be compensated for these rights. This has also led to the return of the beloved franchise, with the publisher announcing it in 2021.
The long offseason should be a little easier to bear now that there will be a game fans can enjoy in the meantime.
