Pearl Gonzalez is making a big comeback by switching gears to boxing. The seasoned fighter first found success with the sport while growing up in Chicago. She has an upcoming match against Gina Mazany at the Gamebred Boxing 4 event in Milwaukee and since she’s currently cutting weight, she decided to wear an outfit made of Fruit Rollups to the pre-fight press conference.
Gonzalez showed off her sweet ensemble on Instagram and even handed out leftover Fruit Rollups to the media at the press conference. When asked about her choice of attire, she explained that since she couldn’t eat sweets while cutting weight, she figured why not wear it instead?

While she enjoys the little things that lighten up her preparation for her weight cut, Gonzalez is a dedicated athlete who trains daily. This match will be her third professional boxing match after picking up two wins in 2022.
