# Helen Peralta’s Unique Protest at Weigh-Ins Targets Disney
Helen Peralta caused quite a stir with her unconventional protest against Disney just before her match with UFC veteran Poliana Botelho at Invicta FC 49.
The MMA fighter, with a 5-2 record, garnered attention as she appeared topless at the weigh-ins, her nipples covered only with crisscrossed tape. The tape sported the words ‘f–k Disney’ boldly written across it.
Peralta, 34, further elaborated on her message through a post on Twitter. She stated, “For those who don’t want to know, go back to your regularly scheduled programming,” asserting her stance.
In her tweet, Peralta addressed those who may have found her actions offensive, saying, “This is just a glitch in the matrix. If you found me offensive, I’m not sorry. Just imagine a pound of silicone under each breast and boom. Now I’m just … brave. P.s I didn’t kill myself.”
Helen Peralta, representing the Dominican Republic in the flyweight category, boasts a 5-2 career record and is heading into the fight against Poliana Botelho following two consecutive victories.
