Alvin Kamara is potentially looking at a substantial NFL suspension following his recent arrest after the Pro Bowl event on Sunday. The standout running back for the New Orleans Saints, who represented the NFC at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, was taken into custody following an incident at a nightclub.

The 26-year-old was allegedly arrested on a charge of battery resulting in significant bodily harm.

The offense of battery is severe in any state, but in Nevada, being convicted of this felony charge can lead to a prison sentence of up to 5 years.

During the NFC’s 41-35 loss to the AFC, Kamara recorded four catches for 23 yards. In the 2021 season, he played in 13 games for the Saints, accumulating 898 rushing yards on 240 carries, with 47 receptions for 439 receiving yards and a total of nine touchdowns.
