Jorge Masvidal has thrown down the gauntlet to Jake Paul, daring him to step into the Octagon for a showdown on his home turf.
Even though Masvidal didn’t stick around to watch Jake Paul defeat Tyron Woodley in a boxing match, he certainly heard his name dropped afterwards.
In response to Jake Paul’s taunts post-fight, Masvidal took to social media to fire back.
Masvidal made it clear that if Jake Paul truly wants to square off against him, he must be willing to enter the UFC for a genuine battle.
The back-and-forth banter between Paul and Masvidal may seem intense, but it’s unlikely that the fight will materialize anytime soon, given the existing tensions between Masvidal and Dana White, the UFC president.
The feud between Masvidal and Paul seems genuine, but until Masvidal is no longer tied to the UFC, any potential showdown will remain just talk.
