It appears that a rematch between Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley is on the horizon.

Originally, the unbeaten YouTuber was set to square off against heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s half-brother, Tommy Fury, on December 18 in Tampa, Florida. However, Paul recently revealed that Fury had to bow out of the fight and that Woodley would be stepping into the ring in his place.

Paul used his Twitter platform to break the news, taking swipes at Fury and labeling him as “boxing’s biggest coward.” He also mentioned that instead of Fury earning millions to fight him, he’ll now be at home paying $60 to watch. Jake emphasized that the show must go on and expressed his determination to secure a knockout victory over Woodley.

The two fighters previously clashed in August, with Paul controversially winning by split decision. Woodley has reportedly remained in training and good shape, suggesting that he still poses a threat to hand Paul his first defeat.

Concerning Fury, there hasn’t been any specific information disclosed about the nature of his medical condition. While he felt unwell in November, his promoter, Frank Warren, downplayed any impact on the fight.

Woodley also took to Instagram to share the news of his involvement, showing his enthusiasm for another significant payday from facing Jake Paul.

Woodley has a 0-1 record in boxing, with his lone fight being against Jake Paul. In MMA, he holds a record of 19-7-1 and previously held the UFC welterweight title. Meanwhile, Paul boasts a 4-0 boxing record with three knockouts to his credit, triumphing over opponents like YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA player Nate Robinson, and former MMA fighter Ben Askren.
