Pearl Gonzalez, a former UFC fighter, showcased her value by securing a dominant win in her bare-knuckle fighting debut.
At BKFC 18 held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida, Gonzalez triumphed over her opponent, Charisa ‘Sweetheart’ Sigala, claiming a unanimous decision victory with a score of 50-45 across all judges’ scorecards. As the fight ended, her opponent exhibited a hematoma and significant swelling around her left eye.
“I’m not a brawler, I’m a mixed martial artist,” stated the 34-year-old Gonzalez.
“I’m learning to be a boxer, and I’m going to demonstrate technique and skill. Every day, I’m improving. Watch out!”
Post-fight, she proudly displayed her hands that were notably swollen from the intense action during the five rounds.
