A professional MMA fighter shared his experience of encountering “demon-looking things” before supposedly spitting blood at paramedics trying to assist him.

Samuel Patrick Dobb recently appeared in court, refuting a serious assault charge and attributing his actions to ingesting a spiked beverage prior to the incident.

Law enforcement reportedly encountered the Australian fighter engaging in erratic behavior, uttering profanities like “f*ck off, Satan” during a momentary outburst. Following the arrival of an ambulance and Dobb’s subsequent transport, he is accused of sucking blood from a wound on his finger and spitting it at a member of the medical team.

Dobb, a light heavyweight MMA fighter, claimed that he was not aware of consuming any drugs before the incident unfolded.

“I would never want to jeopardize that,” Mr. Dobb reportedly stated during the trial. “It just felt so real… demon-like figures, shouting and laughing at me, and taunting ‘you’re coming to hell, we’ve got you now.'”

In a surprising development, District Court Judge David Kent declared a mistrial when it emerged that one juror had conducted their own research into the case, as reported by MYGC.

Prosecutors are now contemplating whether to pursue a new trial.
