Barack Obama has always had a passion for sports, a trait that carried over from his time in the White House to the present.
The 2021 NCAA Tournament kicks off with the “First Four” games on Thursday evening, followed by the official start of the first round on Friday afternoon.
Former President Obama took the opportunity to fill out his tournament bracket and shared it recently.
“After a hiatus to prioritize the safety of players, coaches, and fans, the Big Dance is finally here—and President Obama is prepared. See his predictions for the Men’s and Women’s NCAA Basketball Championship below,” his office announced.
In his predictions, Obama favors UCSB (12 seed) over Creighton (5 seed) and Georgetown (12 seed) over Colorado (5 seed).
Obama’s Final Four consists entirely of #1 seeds, a rare occurrence in recent history.
