The Los Angeles Dodgers have made a remarkable comeback in the World Series after trailing 3-1 against the Atlanta Braves.
Cody Bellinger emerged as the hero on Sunday evening when his seventh-inning home run broke the tie and sealed his team’s victory with a 4-3 win.
During his celebration, Bellinger injured his shoulder but managed to continue playing:
“Not the first time it’s happened,” Bellinger shared with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt. “I just had to run back to the training room, and they had to pop it back in real quick. But I felt good. I was good enough to play defense to end the game, that’s for sure.”
After the game, Bellinger, the 2019 National League MVP, received congratulations from his girlfriend, swimsuit model Chase Carter.
Bellinger and Carter have been in a relationship since the start of this year, and their bond seems strong.
