Everybody is familiar with the star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, his father who excelled as a baseball pitcher, and even his godfather, former MLB player LaTroy Hawkins.
Jackson Mahomes has also gained recognition, but not in the realm of sports. However, this was not always the case.
The younger sibling of Patrick Mahomes faced challenges while living in his brother’s shadow, but he now credits TikTok for aiding him in emerging from it.
“I used to enjoy playing basketball for a long time, but I lost interest when the opportunity to attend college arose,” shared Jackson. “Subsequently, I felt lonely and uncertain about my future.”
He highlighted how TikTok played a pivotal role in transforming his life.
“Throughout my childhood, everything I did was overshadowed by being recognized as ‘Patrick Mahomes’ brother’,” Jackson expressed.
“I distinctly remember the first instances when people approached me at a football game or in a store, recognizing me as Jackson from TikTok rather than just Patrick Mahomes’ brother.”
Jackson is now a verified TikTok user with close to 1 million followers.
“I discovered my true confidence when I embraced the fact that it’s perfectly fine to not excel in sports,” he remarked.
