Giannis, likely on track to receive his second consecutive MVP award, is currently being outperformed by Jimmy Butler, Miami Heat forward who scored 30 points, seven rebounds, and six assists in Miami’s 115-100 victory in Game 3.
After Miami’s Game 3 triumph, Meyers Leonard took a direct jab at Giannis, suggesting that Butler was indeed the standout player in this series.
Leonard confidently told reporters on Friday, “We have the best player in this series.”
