Throughout the years, the New York Mets have been known for some outrageous incidents that seem almost expected because, well, they are the Mets. However, the latest story really takes the cake.
Last season, Wilson Ramos was on deck during a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers when he received the news that he and his wife were expecting their third child together.
Fast forward to more than a year later, actor and producer Rico Simonini is alleging that Ramos was somehow texting an Instagram model while he was in the on-deck circle.
In today’s era of widespread social media and constant phone use, it seems highly unlikely that Ramos could have been texting someone while on deck without it being noticed until now.
Ramos may choose to ignore the far-fetched story, but if his wife starts asking questions, the situation could take an interesting turn.
