However, fans might think twice about using the Patriots in the game as Newton’s Madden 21 rating is lower than usual.
Newton has been given a 78 overall rating, which is his lowest since his rookie season in 2011. Just four years ago, he had an impressive 94 overall rating.
Dealing with various injuries over the past two seasons, Newton missed a total of 16 games. The last time he was fully healthy was during the first half of the 2018 season, where he tallied 2,235 total yards, 19 total touchdowns, and four interceptions.
