Indianapolis Motor Speedway witnessed a historic weekend as NASCAR and Indycar joined forces for the first time. The action-packed Saturday featured a doubleheader with both Indycar and NASCAR hitting the track. Scott Dixon stood out in the Indycar event, clinching his second consecutive victory in dominating fashion.
After his previous triumph at Texas, Dixon showcased his prowess, finishing nearly 20 seconds ahead of Graham Rahal. Simon Pagenaud, the defending champion of the road course, secured the third spot after starting from 20th place. Following the Indycar action, NASCAR’s Xfinity Series took to the track, delivering an intense race culminating in a close finish where local favorite Chase Briscoe emerged victorious in an exhilarating showdown.
