When the NBA resumes play in the Orlando bubble later this month, players will be allowed to showcase messages like “Black Lives Matter,” “Say Their Names,” and “I Can’t Breathe” on the back of their uniforms.

Other approved messages include “Justice Now,” “Power to the People,” “How Many More,” “Say Her Name,” “Listen to Us,” “I Am a Man,” “Speak Up,” “Stand Up,” “Group Economics,” and “Education Reform.”

As reported byMarc J. Spears of The Undefeated, players can also choose from words like “Ally,” “Anti-Racist,” “Enough,” “Equality,” “Freedom,” “Justice,” “Liberation,” “Listen,” “Mentor,” “Peace,” and “Vote” in place of their last names.

Players can pick their top two choices and wear the approved messages for the first four nights of seeding games starting on July 30. After that, teams will switch back to their regular uniforms.

A decision was made by players to avoid using the names of individuals who have died in police custody to prevent any offense to those left out.

In addition to personal messages, the NBA will feature “Black Lives Matter” painted on the courts in all three game locations.
