He advocates for Belvedere vodka as the drink of choice, demonstrating a clear bottle of the spirit during the video. Daly humorously mentions pairing it with a McDonald’s Diet Coke to wash it down and avoid hangovers.
Daly asserts, “And that’s the way you kill this coronavirus I believe. But ya’ll be safe, take care and hopefully we’ll be getting back to the things we do best pretty soon.”
This advice conflicts with the World Health Organization’s warning that alcohol consumption could increase the risk of contracting the coronavirus.
Daly, a 53-year-old with two major championship wins, has faced challenges with his health and struggles with alcohol addiction over the course of his career.
