Michael Roberts had a tumultuous week navigating between three different NFL teams, facing challenges due to his current health condition.
His journey began when Detroit Lions’ coach, Matt Patricia, traded him to the New England Patriots last Thursday. This move seemed strategic as it not only benefited the Lions but also addressed a gap in the Patriots’ roster for a tight end, a position Roberts could have filled well.
Unfortunately, Roberts’ transition to the Patriots hit a roadblock when he failed his physical examination. Consequently, he was sent back to the Lions, who subsequently released him from the team, indicating their decision to part ways with him.
Roberts briefly found hope when the Green Bay Packers recruited him. However, his stint with the Packers was short-lived as he failed another physical assessment within just two days. This recurring pattern should serve as a stark reminder of the importance of his personal health in his football career.
